Excellent, the best first book on this subject (I am a specialist of this field.) , especially the last chapter, which, in just one chapter, shows how a working compiler can be this concise (in 400 lines).
What more is there to say? Nicklaus Wirth taught quite a bit of us programming through Pascal and later with Modula 2. This book covers many data structure basics and is an excellent book to use to learn programming. I got it as a reference.
An old classic, a good introduction for Pascal programmers. If you are not a Pascal junkie, Wirth's Modula-2 version is better, (supplemented with Compiler Construction, as the compiler introduction is not in the M2 version).
The book is marked as in good quality. The dust jacket is a little messed up and there is some water stains on the inside, but the binding is solid and the pages are all in great condition. I would definitely buy another book from them.Thanks!
